Goa PWD Bharti 2022: Minister for Public Works Nilesh Cabral said that 100 posts would be filled on a contract basis. This information was given by the Minister while 300 posts including junior engineers and technical assistants were pending in the last tenure of the Sawant government. Kabra said there is a shortage of manpower in the account. These posts will not be left vacant as the account deals with the daily needs of the people. Junior engineers and Technical assistants are in the process of being investigated by the committee following allegations of alleged recruitment scams during the previous government. A decision will be taken after receiving the report. In case of new contract 900 curtains, I will send the file to the Chief Minister and these posts will also be filled by the Staff Selection Commission.

सार्वजनिक बांधकाम खात्यात कंत्राटावर शंभर पदे भरली जाणार असल्याचे खात्याचे मंत्री नीलेश काब्राल यांनी स्पष्ट केले. सावंत सरकारच्या गेल्या कार्यकाळात कनिष्ठ अभियंता व तांत्रिक सहायक मिळून ३०० पदे प्रलंबित असताना मंत्र्यांनी ही माहिती दिली. काब्राल म्हणाले की, खात्यात मनुष्यबळाचा तुटवडा आहे. लोकांच्या दैनंदिन गरजांशी खाते निगडित असल्याने ही पदे रिक्त ठेवून चालणार नाहीत. मागील सरकारच्या काळात भरतीबाबत कथित घोटाळ्याच्या तक्रारींची चौकशी समितीतर्फे आल्यानंतर कनिष्ठ अभियंता व तांत्रिक सहायक चालू आहे. अहवाल आल्यांनतर काय तो निर्णय घेण्यात येईल. नव्या कंत्राटी 900 पर्दाच्या बाबतीत मी मुख्यमंत्र्यांकडे फाईल पाठवणार आहे आणि ही पदे देखील कर्मचारी निवड आयोगच भरणार आहे.
दीपक पाऊसकर बांधकाम मंत्री असताना कनिष्ठ अभियंता व तांत्रिक सहायक पदे भरण्यासाठी प्रत्येकी ३० ते ३५ लाख रुपये लाच घेतल्याचा |आरोप झाला होता. त्यानंतर भरती स्थगित ठेवून चौकशीसाठी आयएएस अधिकाऱ्याच्या नेतृत्वाखाली त्रिसदस्यीय समिती स्थापन करण्यात आली होती. परंतु या आयएएस अधिकाऱ्याचीच नंतर गोव्यातून बदली झाली. ही पदे अजून भरलेली नाहीत.
